With regards to my point of iteration, I struggled to create a sense of unity throughout the three contrasting game states. I tried experimenting with different textural features to provide context while the melodies were the same, however this ended up sounding too "samey", and as a result of this I realised that I needed to add in some rhythmic and percussive changes. I ended up settling on a common bass part that appears in all 3 game states to bind the tracks together, and chopped up various drums (ranging from sparse, minimal, to heavy) to create contrast.
